Sleep Or Weep?

So the moral of the story is no 2 baby's are the same! Scarlett was up every 4 hours at first and that really takes a bit of time getting used to, But after that a few months flew by she started to get used to the fact of sleeping, She would go to sleep around 5/6 tea time and not wake up til morning! Bare in mind i did have to keep checking on her in her cot as she slept so quiet and still so i wanted to see if she was OK! she would stir before wanting her nappy done or a bottle but that wouldn't be until morning, The only time she broke the "Sleeping Spell" was when she was teething she would wake in pain and would not settle back to sleep but thanks to advice from the doctor he told us "Infant Calpol" (2.5ml) & Bonjela would work a treat and she would soon settle for a while for us to then get some sleep in just in case she had a restless night or day. As soon to find out my beautiful son is 6 months old and he wakes up at night due to bad teething but sometimes might sleep more than 5 hours so that's when you get your head down! I would certainly advise that when they say "When baby is asleep you sleep" to do it! Does not matter if pots need doing or other household jobs leave that for when the baby wakes and you've fed them and there settled cooing in there cot, You will thank me later when you realize a few hours of kip actually gives you a slight bit more of energy to get you through the day.
