Autumn Time & Fact's

Well as it's now AUTUMN i thought i could write this blog about Conkers! That's right Conkers! As soon as mid September arrives its been told some Conkers are ready and some are near ready. So the reason to me writing about these shiny brown seeds of the horse chestnut trees is due to SPIDERS, Many people are scared of spiders ( ME!! ) and its been said that collecting and having Conkers in your home keeps the spiders at bay. You have the choice of placing the Conkers in the corners of your desired room which frankly I put them in every room in my household including the bathroom! Or you can crush the Conkers and Scatter a fine layer of it around and in cracks and corners. FACT If any of you like Fossils or have any handy? The powder, made from fossils, supposedly cuts a spider up when it walks across it, which ultimately kills it. Walnuts are thought to have a similar effect also! Well that covers abit of autumn for now!
