So as every mother should know through pregnancy women’s teeth and gums are delicate as anything as you can read via the NHS website here > https://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/pages/teeth-and-gums-pregnant.aspx .... Iv never had any problems with my teeth considering having Hyperemesis in both pregnancies worst with my first born Scarlett. Many women have lost there teeth so I was lucky with only a few fillings! Iv always had a baby tooth at the top front row which Iv had for 29 years! It never came out obviously so I decided I might aswell get it taken out!

As you can see from the photo above I’m out of it with a missing tooth , bleeding and drooling like hooch the dog and wishing I never had my tooth out now to be honest! After the pain and suffering with it as it was a big root the pain still didn’t resolve when it should of in the time frame given.

So another appointment was booked & measures were taken as you can see in the picture above. This was the moment I waited to be told it was Dry Socket! This is the worse thing to have I never knew anything about it til I suffered with it! I had to research first incase I was a worrying over nothing as it could be just tooth ache from having a tooth out? Well indeed it was Dry Socket - where a blood clot fails to develop in the tooth socket, or if the blood clot becomes dislodged.

Well I certainly had it and the dentist had to clear the area with a sharp object felt like the devils spear poking in my tender gum and then he had to rip at the skin to make it bleed and re blood clot! I was in so much pain it was unreal. From there he said I caught it early and no need for antibiotics?! Well from there Iv been having salt water mouth swirls , Tender gum mouth wash and the most amazing smell and taste in the world! NOTTTTTT! Clove Oil to help the pain and area, from today it seems it’s healing and still a little painful hence this is going to be a slowly progress as I have a low immune system so that isn’t going to help it.
