So the moral of the story is no 2 baby's are the same! Dalton was in hospital a few days after he was born as he was born with a cold! I was also in there for a chest infection , mastitis and a infection in my c section area. once the little man was home he slept every 4 hours but didn’t like sleeping with the light off so we had to have a mild lighting setting on for him to settle! After that he was sleeping very well then he ended up with another cold, ear infection and throat infection in time ( due to a low immune system like his Mummy ) and that then affected his sleep pattern and wouldn’t settle in his Moses basket or cot so i had to co sleep with myself in a safe surrounding with a cushion border. So from today Dalton is teething and the poor little baby has been for several months and he was in so much pain but just recently ( December 7th ) he had two bottom teeth appear and then the day after on the 8th another appeared and then the 9th Another appeared!! So 4 Bottom Teeth In the space of 3 days. So recently we’ve had to take the advice from the doctors once again as he told us to give Dalton "Infant Calpol" (5.0ml) , Bonjela & Teething Powder would work a treat and in time he would soon settle. So that's when they say that you should get your head down! When your baby’s goes to sleep! It Doesn’t matter if a couple of pots need doing or other household jobs leave that for when the baby wakes and you've fed them and there settled cooing in there cot or in a safe zone like a floor chair. You will thank me later when you realize a few hours of kip actually gives you a slight bit more of an energy boost to get you through the day. But in my case I have a cheeky hour sometimes and sometimes I don’t due to having a near 2 year old and a 10 month old! But when daddy’s off work he helps so much giving me a few hours kip and then he will get some after, It does get easy I swear by it! If you have Irish Twins then good luck it’s a challenge but well worth it.
