So as it say's in the title.... The first smile from any of your babies is an amazing feeling its like " i'm doing OK , there happy they know i'm mummy !! " its such an amazing feeling to see that little precious baby look up at you and smile at you and your partner. Next is the first laugh! At first I heard Dalton laugh in his sleep and then soon Came laughter when he was awake he would look and giggle at anything his laugh melted my heart! Now is for the first head push up i wasn’t especting dalton to just do it out of the blue even though he was doing tummy time & cuddles he did it out of the blue! I was surprised as my son has ‘ Flat Head Syndrome’ but he’s managed to do so so well! Me and my partner was so made up! ( Also having your baby on your chest having cuddles or winding is also classed as tummy time I was told ) Then in time he kept rolling and sometime got stuck with his arm and then got frustrated as he didn’t want to be on his front so we would turn him back and he would want to turn again! Then in time he loved sleeping on his side and slept like that and then gradually started to sleep on his front and to this day he loves sleeping in his tummy!! Then once your baby’s decides to be amazing at rolling which Scarlett and dalton was! At first yeah its frustrating as you feel awful on your baby that you cant help them crawl as they also get frustrated and get abit upset but in time you know they will do it and when i say they crawl they CRAWL!! Dalton however didn’t master the front Crawl he mastered the magical roundabout Crawl were he would crawl in a circle after circle. Finally he’s now started to crawl forwards and he’s started to rock back and forth on all 4s but still hasn’t got the hang of moving his hands arms legs and knees to fully crawl. Iv been showing him how to try and stand! he’s doing well, at first he stood up in bed with a little help then downstairs in front of daddy with a little help. He's got the hang of standing alone and balancing but still a little bit wobbly and walking he should be walking before or a little after his 1st Birthday!! Yeah Its quite scary you literally need to baby guard everything so they dont loose grip or when there walking you have to baby proof everything also so they don’t trip or fall and hurt themselves! That's when the worrying mother appears even more and you get scared for them and nearly wet yourself! You can buy plastic guards to put on the edge of units , tables , chairs anything what you think is a hazard. From there they notice things and want to reach out and to get up on things and then “BAM oh mama i can pull myself up and stand against something" Ut Ohhhh. Next is walking which we haven’t got to yet! But il be sure to write a blog sometime next year when my son is walking.
